There are two major rivals in the state of South Carolina, Clemson University and University of South Carolina. There are even people who do not live in South Carolina who cheer for either team. Both schools are great schools, and it's fun to watch what goes on between them because it shows who really stays with their team even when they aren't winning. I would have to say that they day at school when everyone dresses up in the colors of their choice is a great day because you really see who everyone supports and why they support them.
Personally, I pull for University of South Carolina. You might ask yourself why. There are many reasons: for one, it has the name South Carolina in it, I like the colors, and my dad has always hated Clemson. I've never known any different because most of my friends cheer for Carolina as well. My neighbor has season tickets for Carolina games, and two years ago he let us borrow them. We went to the game, and it was a great experience because I was ablt to be in the atmosphere with all of the so called "die hard" fans. The game was great even though they ended up losing.
Clemson,on the other hand, isn't bad to pull for either. I don't think that it's wrong if you cheer for another team because it shows how everyone is different. I really enjoy watching the Tigers play because they always seem to have a lot of energy. They are also fun to watch because they usually win more than Carolina, but I'll stay loyal until the end.
Both teams show great teamwork skills, but I hope that Carolina wins the game.

I am a Carolina fan!!! I love football and Carolina is my favorite team. I think we have had a pretty good season, considering the fact that over half of our players are sophomores and freshmen. Next year we should be great!
ReplyDeleteBut, as far as the Clemson wins more thing goes. Carolina and Clemson are in two different leagues. Carolina being in the SEC, and Clemson in the ACC. Need I say more?
Well since I have nothing better to do I will. Carolina plays the big top ranked teams like Florida, and Alabama. And Clemson plays teams like.....actually I don't know because, those games aren't on TV. GO COCKS!!!
